This project aimed to energize the area through architecture. Rather than adopting grand brutalism, the design takes a simpler approach, focusing on planes, lines, and a clean grid-based façade. However, subtle variations and rhythmic elements push this simplicity to its peak. In shaping the form through fundamental elements of planes and lines, exposed concrete emerged as the ideal material. After extensive testing and refinement, the final façade was realized.

건물의 디자인은 거창한 브루탈리즘이라기보다 면과 선 그리고 간결한 그리드를 통한 입면의 구현이라는 다소 간단한 접근 방식이지만, 작은 변주와 리듬감을 통해 그 극치를 구현하고자 했다. 면과 선이라는 근본요소가 형태를 만들어가는 과정에서 가장 좋은 재료는 노출콘크리라는 결론을 내고, 지난한 테스트와 반복 과정을 거쳐 현 입면이 완성되었다.
