This residential garden exudes the unique traditional atmosphere of Jeonju. The garden was designed to complement the clean lines and balanced proportions of the house. A stone terrace, a contemporary interpretation of the traditional Korean maru, is a striking feature, complete with a solid wood bench. Tiered platforms and a striking stacked stone fire pit anchor either end of the manicured lawn.

전주 고유의 전통적 분위기가 묻어나는 주택정원이다. 간결하고 반듯하게 떨어지는 건축의 조형과 조화롭도록 공간을 구성했으며 전통적 마루를 재해석한 석재마루와 그 위에 앉혀진 통목벤치가 인상적이다. 말끔한 잔디마당 양단에는 계단형 포디움과 돌을 켜쌓은 파이어 플레이스를 두어 시선을 머물게 한다. Collaborator: 얼라이브어스 건축, 랜드웍스 Photographer: 김진철
